Cancer in Young Adults: Through Parents’ Eyes, was published by Open University Press in 2002. It represents the outcome of the first phase of an eight year research project on cancer in teenagers and young adults. The narratives upon which the book is based were contributed by parents whose young adult son or daughter had been diagnosed with cancer and the resulting text seeks to understand the issues facing families who support a son or daughter through such an experience.
